Common questions

Are your quotes free?

Yes. We give free quotes on all concreting. Call 0401 278 429 or send us the details of your job through the quote form.

How much does a slab or driveway cost?

Every job is different. Size, access, soil, slope and finish all change the price, so we don’t publish a price list. Tell us about your job and we’ll give you a free quote.

How soon can you start?

It depends on what’s already booked, where you’re at with approvals, and the weather. Tell us your timing when you get in touch and we’ll let you know where we’re up to.

How does weather affect a pour?

Weather matters a lot. Heavy rain can damage a fresh surface, and heat and wind can dry concrete faster than is good for it. We keep an eye on the forecast, and if the conditions aren’t right we’ll talk to you about changing the plan.

How long before I can build on my new slab?

Concrete keeps gaining strength for weeks after the pour. How soon you can walk, drive or build on it depends on the design, the mix and the weather. Follow your engineer’s advice, and ask us about your job. We’ll talk you through it.

What access do you need for trucks and pumps?

It’s best to tell us early about narrow gates, soft ground, steep tracks, low power lines or long distances from the road. They don’t always stop a job, but they can change how the concrete gets there. A few photos help us plan.

Do you work with shed companies and builders?

Yes. We can work from your shed company’s or builder’s plans and fit in with their timing. If you’re buying a shed, get our slab price before you sign, so you can compare it with your shed builder’s.

Do you work with owner-builders?

Talk to us about your project. It helps if you can tell us where you’re up to with plans, engineering and approvals. We’ll tell you what we need from you.

Do you do rural and acreage jobs?

Yes. We work across the City of Logan and the Scenic Rim, including acreage and agricultural properties. Tell us about the access and we’ll work through how to get to your site.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We’re fully licensed and insured. Our QBCC licence (Concreting) number is 15113652. We’ve also been HIA members since 2015, member number 1166432.

What areas do you cover?

Jimboomba, Yarrabilba, Beaudesert and Flagstone, plus the wider City of Logan and Scenic Rim. If you’re nearby and not sure, give us a call.

Is my job too small?

No job is too big or small. Tell us what you need and we’ll give you a free quote.
